Clean-up Nigeria was birthed in 1994 when the founder and the present National Coordinator; Prince Ene Baba Owoh, Jr. brought together a group of Individuals, corporate and civil leaders who met and carried out the first Clean-up campaign in an open dump site at Ogba-Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria to draw public and government’s attention to the menace of indiscriminate waste disposal and the need to promote a national Cleanliness ethics with responsible waste management system in the country.
In 1997, we entered the second phase of the use of litter baskets in all Commercial Vehicles nationwide, under a tripartite collaboration with the Nigerian Labour congress (NLC), National Union of road transport workers (NURTW) and Clean-Up Nigeria (CUN)...
