Clean-up Nigeria is a leading national Non-profit based advocacy group with bias for waste Management, safe drinking water and beautification in Nigeria, established in 1994. Clean-up Nigeria provides the expertise, programme and resources to help people and government at all levels and end indiscriminate waste dumping, open defecation, improve recycling, and provide safe drinking water for healthy living.
CUN is defined by the work of her 774 community based affiliates in each Local Council Areas of the Country and millions of volunteers, who are supported by corporate partners, states, individuals and groups in Nigeria.
Our collective action champions environmentally healthy, socially connected and economically sound communities. CUN continues to bring people together to engage in responsible waste management, provision of safe drinking water, and beautification that transforms public pleases to healthy living environment nationwide.

We mount constructive campaigns (Nationwide) through individual and group practical actions to better the quality of the Nigeria environment.

Since 1994 Clean-up Nigeria has saved Nigeria and Nigerians millions of dollars in values through the communities/States, LGAs, FCT we serve
1.5Billion + Tonnes of waste litters and 6 recyclables collected over the years. 1,500 safe drinking water Boreholes provided for 700 Communities Nationwide
720K+ Kilometers of street, roads, gutters and illegal dumpsites with backlog of uncleared waste removed and 123 public Toilets provided over the years.

CUN highest decision making body is composed of a five-members Govering Council headed by a chairman who's five year tenure, is not renewable. The management team is overseen by The National Coordinator/COO and supported by fifteen permanent staff at the head office and the respective five staff in all the 36 states + plus FCT offices nationwide headed by State Coordinators.
